Raise Money for
One Nation Walking and Alzheimer's

Once
again the PCC PTA Program has collected and refurbished
mobility aids, commode risers, clothing, crutches,
hygiene items, etc. for the One Nation Walking
organization which then delivers the items to the
Rosebud and Pine Ridge Indian Reservations in South
Dakota. Six Wheelchairs, hospital bed trapeze and
traction frames, crutches, canes and toilet risers were
collected and delivered Oct. 23, 2008.
The
PCC PTA Program student club also collected $789 in
fundraising for the Pueblo Alzheimer’s Memory Walk in
Pueblo City Park Sept. 6, 2008. And the PTA Club
donated a silent auction basket valued at $347 for
the PT PAC at the Fall Symposium.
It has been an active year for the PTA Club.
