Call for Abstracts
for APTA/Colorado Chapter's 40th
Annual Spring Convention
Abstract submissions are invited for
the APTA Colorado Chapter’s Spring Convention on Saturday, April
24th at the University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz Medical
Campus.
Abstracts submitted that demonstrate high quality research
practices and relevance to physical therapy practice will be
selected for poster presentation at the meeting. Work that
has been previously presented is also eligible for submission.
The abstract must be submitted no later
than April 1, 2010 at 5pm (MST) by e-mail to Jennifer Stevens-Lapsley,
Chair of the Research Committee:
Jennifer.Stevens@ucdenver.edu.
Abstracts exceeding 250 words total (not including title and
authors) will not be considered. Do not include references,
acknowledgements or brand names in the abstract. If the work
has been previously submitted, this must be noted in the
abstract.
All abstracts should contain the following
sections: INTRODUCTION, SUBJECTS, METHODS, RESULTS, DISCUSSION
AND CONCLUSION, and CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE.

If your abstract is selected for a poster
presentation, one of the abstract authors will be required to
register for the convention, set up the poster before the
meeting (6a.m. to 7 a.m.) and remove it at 5:00p.m. Presenters
will be asked to be available at their posters at various times
during the conference to answer questions.
Submitters will be notified by April 14, 2010
if their poster is selected for presentation.
