We invite you to support your profession by
participating in the APTA/Colorado Chapter's 16th Annual Bob
Doctor Memorial Golf Tournament & Fundraising Fiesta.
Bob Doctor, PT, established the PT
Games to encourage camaraderie among all Colorado Physical Therapists. He raised funds to support the Physical Therapy profession. In
Bob’s honor, all funds are used to support the ongoing
legislative issues of all Physical Therapists, especially the
Sunset renewal of our Licensure. We invite all Physical
Therapists to support their profession at this event
whether you play golf or not.
What is Sunset
of our Licensure?
Every ten years, our Physical
Therapy License comes up for review by the Colorado Legislature to
determine if the renewal is necessary to protect the consumer.
This affects all Physical
Therapists in Colorado!
To ensure the renewal of your PT
License and your professional future, it involves hours of work
by many of your peers and of course the support of an effective
lobbying team. Our lobbyists maintain year-round vigil at the state
capitol for any legislation that could affect the profession of
physical therapy.
Funds raised from this event help to cover these
legislative costs. Join us at the 16th Annual Bob Doctor
Memorial Golf Tournament & Fundraising Fiesta and PROTECT YOUR LICENSE!
