Full Convention Registration

This option covers two days of education programs, including admission to the exhibit hall, education sessions, lunch in the exhibit hall, refreshments, materials.

Exhibition & Lunch Only Pass

Saturday, March 29, 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This pass will allow admission to exhibit hall, lunch, Business Meeting and afternoon refreshments. This option does not include admission to education sessions.

Target Audience & Guidelines

Convention sessions are designed primarily for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants.

The information presented in these sessions is not intended for use by attendees outside of their license or regulation. Others attending and practicing these techniques are responsible for knowing and complying with appropriate practice acts and insurance regulations.

The elements of patient/client management taught in these sessions is considered physical therapy only when performed by or under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist, in accordance with APTA policies, positions and standards.


Student Sponsorship Fund
APTA members are encouraged to contribute to the Student Sponsorship Fund which allows Chapter member PT or PTA students to attend conventions at no charge. To contribute, please indicate the amount under Student Sponsorship on the Registration Form.

Education Credit
A certificate of attendance will be provided at the conclusion of each program based on 1.0 contact hour per 50 minutes of instruction. A total of 9.0 contact hours are available at the Spring Convention.

Conference Attire
Dress for the conference is business casual. Participants should wear clothes suitable for lab practice.

Child Care
The APTA/Colorado Chapter has made no provisions for child care at this event. Parents or guardians assume all liability and are fully responsible for the welfare and appropriate supervision of children who are present during the event.

 


Registration Instructions

To register, complete the attached Registration form and send with payment to the APTA/Colorado Chapter.

Registrations cannot be accepted without full payment. Checks, VISA or MasterCard are accepted. Registrants paying by credit card may fax their Registration Form to the Colorado Chapter office at (303) 694-4869.

Facilities requiring additional time to process checks may attach a purchase order with Registration Form. Please be sure to include a copy of the purchase order with check to ensure proper allocation.

Students who are enrolled in an accredited PT or PT Assistant program must have program director verification to register for the student category.

Registrations postmarked or faxed after March 14, 2003 must add $30 per person.

Please indicate special dietary requests on the Registration Form.

If you have special needs or require additional assistance to participate in the Spring Convention, please contact the APTA/Colorado Chapter no later than March 7, 2003.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the APTA/Colorado Chapter.

Refund requests postmarked no later than Friday, March 14, 2003, will receive full refund less a $25 processing fee. Requests received after this date will receive one-half registration fee less $25.

Refunds will be processed 30 days after the Convention.

There are no refunds for no-shows.

Directions: From I-25, take I-70 to Wadsworth Boulevard North exit. Proceed north on Wadsworth two miles to 68th Avenue. The Arvada Center will be on your left, on the northwest corner. Free parking is available in the Arvada Center lot.
