Nicole Miranda, PT, DPT earned her Master's Degree in physical therapy from Hahnemann University (Phila, PA) in 1995. She began practice in pediatrics at The Children's Seashore House/Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, which provided a wonderful variety of neurorehabilitation, acute care and outpatient pediatrics. She then relocated to Houston, TX and worked at Texas Children's Hospital briefly before she transitioned to pediatric and adult neurorehabilitation at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) in 1997. At TIRR she helped develop a pediatric outpatient rehab program and began adult neurorehabilitation. In 2002 Nicole relocated to Denver and joined South Valley Physical Therapy, where she has expanded her neurological expertise into vestibular rehabilitation. Nicole has participated as affiliate faculty at Regis University since 2005, and completed her DPT at Regis in 2008. Nicole currently treats adults and children with a variety of neurological impairments and diseases, and has extensive background in wheelchair seating and positioning and lower limb amputations. She is a volunteer facilitator of monthly support group meetings for the Colorado Brain Aneurysm Foundation, and most recently has been an invited speaker to multiple forums regarding Colorado's upcoming concussion law and prolonged concussion recovery in children.
