Mary
Jane Chavez, PTA, right, has been an active member of APTA and an active PTA
promoter since 1986. She has attended many APTA conferences at both the state
and national levels and many meetings of the Chapter Board of Directors as
chair of the Colorado PTA SIG.
She holds a BS degree in
Biology, 1984, and an Associate of Applied Science in PTA, 1986. She is
currently working on her Masters in Education Degree. She is currently a
faculty member of the PTA program at Pueblo Community College. She was staff
and chief PTA for H&W therapy and held the Pool PTA position for St. Mary
Corwin Hospital in Pueblo.
She has organized two
continuing education courses directed toward the PTA as a fundraiser for the
PTA SIG and promotes involvement in APTA by PTAs.
